Meet The Minders

Kremena Gavrilova

"Hello my name is Kremena Gavrilova,

I am Ofsted registered childminder running a Montessori inspired setting in Beckton.

I have 2 assistants (one of my assistants is a qualified speech therapist and the other one has Level 3 Early years qualification).  I am qualified Montessori teacher- Level 4 and I have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Level 6. Montessori philosophy of education and child development is at the core of our setting.  We have fully equipped Montessori room, spacious and beautiful outdoor space and separate room where children sleep. Our children spend a lot of time outdoors (our own garden, local parks, playgrounds, farm).  Our setting has only wooden toys and materials most of which are open-ended educational toys. The activities are age appropriate, designed to support children's fine and gross motor skills, hand eye coordination, dexterity of the hand, mental ability of visual discrimination of dimension, colours, shapes, patterns etc. Our inclusive setting develops our children's knowledge and understanding of the world by celebrating festivals, inviting community people in the setting, planting seeds to observe the nature's life cycles etc.

Outcome of Ofsted inspection:  Good

Renu Begum

I am a good Ofsted rated childminder. I have level 3 childcare qualification.

I am currently looking after one child, which I have been looking after since 9 months and parents are very happy with my setting and the activities I do with him.

I take the children in my care on local outings such as libraries, park, farm and different groups within the local area.  Every week at home, we do different activities, which complement the Early Years Foundation Stage; this framework guides my planning and allows me to develop children knowledge and understanding within the home environment

I am committed to working in partnership with parents to help them understand the learning that I provide within my home environment.

Welcome to PreciousV!

My name is Severine. I am a qualified teacher with over 15 years’ experience in Early years education.

The letter “V” in PreciousV stands for “La vie” which means “life” in French. We feel it is a great honour to work with young children as we truly believe they are precious gifts who need to be nurtured well from an early age. We aim to instil great values such as respect and tolerance by celebrating diversity but also transfer skills for life such as good manners and positive social interactions. We know that in every child, there is a champion who is often waiting to be awakened.

It is PreciousV’s vision to provide a safe, secure and joyful learning environment that enables children to grow and excel. We want every child who steps through our door to develop confidence, independence, eloquence and kindness while maximising their full potential.

Our activities are planned according to the EYFS framework where Play is at the centre of our daily routine. Our aim is to engage children, enabling them to display their uniqueness through exploration while developing concentration and critical thinking.

We want to transfer our passion for stories to enhance children’s imagination and our love for creative activities such as music and role play to improve their communication skills. Mark-making will be the key to develop pencil grip. Children will learn counting through fun games and songs. We will use our natural environment to understand our world. By the time they are ready to take the next step into their learning journey, children will be inquisitive, sociable, eloquent and adventurous.
